The Camps Bay Beach has been a Blue Flag Beach since 2008 and has a seasonal lifeguard station with toilets. On the beach you can rent loungers or umbrellas for a day of lazing in the sun, get a massage, or play volleyball. The beach is situated opposite Camps Bay’s main tourist hub with a variety of hotels, shops and restaurants. There is often street entertainment as the sun goes down. Another of Camps Bay’s beaches, Glen Beach is known as Camps Bay’s best surfing beach. The “Camps Bay Track Walk” is one of Camps Bay’s most popular attractions. The trail starts at the top Kloof Nek and follows an old water pipe all along the mountain above Camps Bay.
