When we bought the farm where The Secret Garden would eventually be built, we couldn’t believe that ‘Maritzburg could offer such a beautiful environment, so close to the CBD (10 minutes from us), and ideally suited to creating a wonderful country wedding venue. The Secret Garden is nestled in the hills of Bisley, and overlooks our private game ranch which is stocked with over 500 animals, ranging from giraffe ( which can often be seen from our venue’s verandah ) to zebra, kudu and the very rare oribi antelope.
