Our Indigo View cottage is set on a large elevated site which is a few minutes walk from the beaches in the tranquil coastal village of Scarborough in Cape Town. Scarborough is a conservation village which is totally surrounded by nature reserve and the Atlantic Ocean. The nature reserve is covered in pristine Fynbos and is one of the premier floral kingdoms in the Western Cape. Both Cottages enjoy panoramic unspoiled views of this lovely coastline with its inviting picturesque beaches. This beautiful coastal enclave has it all: sandy unspoiled beaches, mountains with nature trails, a surfing, diving and fishing wonderland and also a Southern Right whale watchers delight. Restaurants, shopping malls and cinemas are 15 minutes drive away and Cape Town with all its attractions is only a 45 minute drive away. Scarborough is very central within a string of charming coastal villages and natural destinations in the Southern Peninsula. False Bay has the lovely villages of Simon’s Town, Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay and Muizenberg which are all close by.
