We strive to produce only the best food for our customers. We use only quality ingredients, instead of catering products and all our food is made to order. Rooibos Restaurant is known for its thin base pizzas made in our new woodfire pizza oven and our yummy burgers made of 100% ground beef. But don’t forget to try our Spare Ribs, we use imported pork belly ribs that are cooked in our own spice blend & rooibos tea, the rooibos is what makes the ribs so tender. Our lasagna is made with our homemade lasagna sheets, bolognaise mince and secret white sauce.
Rooibos Restaurant all started with a little dream that Tyron Calder & Nicole Fischer had. They decided to pack their bags, resign from their jobs in Bloemfontein and move down to Strand in the Western Cape… To open up their own business, Rooibos. Tyron comes from the corparate world, he studied Sales & Marketing. Then worked for a food distribution company before setting off to join South African Breweries, where he has been for the last 5 years. Nicole has 10 years experience in the Hospitality industry, she recieved her degree in Hospitality Management, worked in America for a year and has run a few restaurants since then. Tyron is running the front of house, and Nicole the kitchen. And together they are quiet a mean team 😉 Their vision is to have a place where everyone is welcome, serve quality food, at affordable prices and give awesome service.
