Situated on the Stellenbosch Wine Route, Zevenwacht has viticultural roots which penetrate deep into the historic past of South Africa. While literally meaning Seven Expectations, the name Zevenwacht exemplifies the abundant delights which await visitors to the Farm. A family owned and managed Estate, the current owners, Harold and Denise Johnson purchased the farm in 1992, and have committed themselves to a programme of development to realise Zevenwacht’s rich potential beyond wine production. The estate has a strong commitment to historic and cultural preservation, as well as the active socio-economic upliftment of its workers and their families. Two prime farming locations supply the Zevenwacht winery. The home vineyards on Zevenwacht’s 450 hectare maritime property supplies the bulk of the wine that fills the 1000 ton cellar. The farm Zevenrivieren, at the crest of the “Helshoogte” (Heights of Hell) Pass, overlooking Stellenbosch, provides equally outstanding grapes and adds fascinating variety to the collection. Established in 2013 we have grown to become the most preferred Asian Cuisine due to our consistency, professionalism, experience and of course our amazing authentic flavours. You will find The Thai Hut Company serving the most authentic Asian cuisine from our retail take away outlets and at major events throughout the Western Cape with our mobile division. We have an established successful catering division that provides our Asian cuisine to private corporate clients, year-end functions, weddings and private parties.

Alberto’s Restaurant opened its doors in May 1999, and has been run by Albert and Helona Coetzee for the last 20 years. Normally one of them are on duty when one visits, so you can be sure of excellent service. The decor is simple, but comfortable. There are smoking and non-smoking sections indoors, and a fairly large outdoor smoking area in the garden. The indoor section is air-conditioned and in winter time the fire in the middle of the restaurant contributes to the enjoyment of one’s experience. There is also a children’s play area outside. We serve anything from traditional South African meals such as Bobotie and Chicken Pie to really good steaks, seafood, burgers and our popular Eisbein and Chicken Breast with sun dried tomato, feta and olives are winners. We are also known for our pizza’s. Alberto’s offers excellent meals at a reasonable price served by friendly and efficient staff.

Schoongezicht is situated on the outskirts of Brackenfell. Located on Kruispad in the tranquil surroundings and has a spectacular view of the Western Cape Mountains. We are well known for our Grill and Buffet.  We offer the unique concept of “Eat and Drink” as much as you like. Our Buffet consists of Traditional Food and Carvery, Bread and Soup, Seafood and Pastas and delicious Desserts.  The perfect place for a family get-together.  Bookings are essential. Our Restaurant may be utilized for Day Conferences in a relaxed atmosphere.  Our Upstairs Venue and Lapa Area allows for Weddings, Birthdays and other functions. Located in Brackenfell, in the tranquil surroundings and spectacular view of the Western Cape mountain’s our guests are able to attend conferences in a relaxed atmosphere, our conference facilities may be utilized for day conference, functions, workshops, exhibitions, product launches and meetings. These facilities are fully equipped with standard conference equipment, with a guest potential of between 10 and 50 delegates, certain to suit your requirements.  

This Victorian Manor House was built in 1899 by Phillipus Botha on the farm Bloemhof and was later owned by Frank Kuffner who played a vital role in the wine industry of South Africa. Nowadays we at The Bloemhof pride ourselves on our manor house and wish to maintain it’s historical beauty. Accommodation The Bloemhof Guest offers spacious rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, colour television with DSTV bouquet as well as access to the balcony which overlooks our landscaped gardens and Table Mountain. Weddings At The Bloemhof we can offer you a private intimate celebration of your nuptials with close family and friends.
