The Durr Estates brand is well known throughout the Cape, and has grown over the years into a large network of offices covering the Peninsula, Boland, Overberg, Southern and Eastern Cape. The various franchise offices are co-ordinated by Durr Holdings with offices in Sea Point, Cape Town. This centralises all the organizational functions such as marketing of the brand, liaison between licensees, organization of conferences and awards functions, communication with bond originators, training of agents and press advertising. Durr Holdings is managed by a Board of Directors who all are licensees in their own right and who have an intimate knowledge of the real estate industry. The board meets monthly to discuss issues within the group of franchisees and also the broader property industry. The office is run by administrative staff, supervised by a general manager. Durr Holdings views itself as the custodian of the Durr Estates brand, which has a well established, and proud name in the property industry – one which has the potential to become a leading brand.

Ebesa Architects is proud to be the architects for the redevelopment of a 20 000 m² semi-industrial site into sustainable A-grade office accommodation, thus promoting the Green Building Council of South Africa and global objectives of “promoting sustainable development and the transition of the property industry towards sustainability”. The building was completed in August 2013 and has been awarded a 4-star Green Building Design rating. It is in the process of receiving a 5-star As-Built rating.
